Baby Carrier Industry Alliance Update

There have been a lot of rumors going around recently concerning the legal future of babywearing. It is very important that we not to spread misinformation or hype about the safety regulations that are under development. This is a delicate matter that has been in process for nearly 5 years and the Baby Carrier Industry Alliance (BCIA) have worked very hard to increase awareness of the value of quality baby carriers and to support those in the baby carrier industry. They have a wealth of accurate information available on their website.
Please make sure you fully understand what is going on and what the history is before posting anything regarding the regulations and rumors of babywearing being banned. Even noted individuals in the babywearing community are not always clear about what is going on. If you wish to help or become more informed please start by reading the statement linked below on the BWI page.
