Meet your VBE (Volunteer Babywearing Educator) - Allison
Now, I pretty much love each type of carrier for one purpose or another. I love all the hands free snuggles wearing allows me to have. I wear in public because it's easy to keep up with my son. I wear when I'm cooking and my son wants to be held. I wear when rocking my son to sleep for a nap or bedtime isn't working. My husband wears when we go hiking. Wearing is an everyday, essential part of our lives. I'm so excited to be able to help parents learn how to safely wear their kiddos because I truly believe it will change their life. Happy babywearing!
International Babywearing Week!!
We have something SO EXCITING planned for our October meeting and International Babywearing Week!!
To celebrate-our chapter will be hosting a picnic-with loads and loads of fabulous door prizes! It will take the place of our Saturday meeting-10am-1pm Oct. 4th at Shelby Bottoms.
We will have our fabulous hobbyist photographer VBE Ashley on hand with her awesome camera to take family babywearing photos- 20 minute session - 5 edited images sent via email or burned disk, royalty free for $15!! Members will get first dibs on set number of slots-if you would like to take advantage become a member in the next 24hrs! We will post more examples-the photo featured in this post is one of many!!!

Meet your VBE (Volunteer Babywearing Educator) - Nicole
Hello All! I'm Nicole-mommy to Vivienne (3) and Cecilia (10mo). I started babywearing because my Vivie was a very happy baby.....as long as she was being held. I faced the conundrum of never leaving my rocking chair or having to hear my angel cry--neither of which was going to work for me! So I became best friends with my ergo! Babywearing gave me confidence and freedom to have my "normal" back (and my hands!) and also meet the needs of my sensitive peanut. Three years later I'm super happy to help new moms and dads find an easier transition into their parenthood journey and make babies everywhere happy too!

Meet your VBE (Volunteer Babywearing Educator) - Rebecca
Rebecca has been babywearing since 2007 (oh my), which makes her a dinosaur in the babywearing community. She has 5 kids and considers babywearing the most useful skill she ever learned as a parent. This was never truer than when she had twins and learned to tandem wrap them out of sheer necessity. She finds all aspects of babywearing fascinating, especially traditional carriers, but her primary love will always be for wrapping.
